United Democrats of Frederick County
Founded in 1981, the United Democrats of Frederick County is a Democratic club made up of citizens who are active in public affairs and in the Democratic Party. Some hold elective office or other government positions; all are citizens committed to their community, to their party and to making democracy work. UDFC meets monthly to discuss issues, join in efforts to help build the Democratic Party in Frederick County, and work for local, state, and national Democratic candidates in their bids for office. Upcoming programs include forums on education, the economy, and charter government.
Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, except July, at Cafe 611, 611 North Market St. in downtown Frederick. Doors open at 5:45 for dinner and socializing; meeting starts at 7:00.
For current information about the meetings, check the calendar. All are welcome and all Democrats are encouraged to join.
