Did you see the email from Senator Boxer and me last week about the Republicans’ efforts to gut the EPA?
The time to act is now. On Friday, the White House asked the EPA to withdraw the draft Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards. These standards would have reduced smog pollution from automobiles, refineries and power plants.
That means it's more important than ever that Congress step up to the plate and do its part to keep our air clean and our water safe.
This decision was wrong for Maryland and wrong for our environment. We need to act now.
