Today marks the 100th day of the President's administration (regime). Join Frederick County Democrats as we peacefully unite to sign a wave against the hate and destruction of our democracy that has occurred during this time. We are gathering at various locations in kindred compassion and support of federal workers. Bring your signs and join us at your preferred site. Sign up here.

This event is for registered Democrats interested in running for office in the City of Frederick municipal elections this year or the county/state elections in 2026. 

Refreshments provided while supplies last. 

Limited on-street parking on 5th Street and nearby residential streets. Metered parking on N. Market Street. Please look for and abide by any/all sign restrictions. ​

We will host a separate meeting for those interested in supporting roles, such as treasurers, managers, etc. 

The initial date for this event was Saturday, 5 April 2025, but we had to reschedule for logistical reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience.​

Frederick Dems will be at First Saturday in downtown Frederick.  

Our table, with Frederick Democratic signage, is located at 9 North Market Street in front of Middletown Valley Bank. .

Join the United Democrats of Frederick County for their monthly meeting on the 1st Monday of each month unless it is a Federal holiday. (No meeting in July)

TIME: Social time is 6 PM, with the meeting at 7 PM.
WHERE: Cafe 611, 611 N. Market Street, Frederick 
PARKING: Street parking is available

Dinner and beverages are available for purchase at the patron's expense.

In the event of inclement weather, a decision on the meeting status will be made by noon that day. Soon after, the calendar will be updated to reflect the status, whether it will still occur, or to advise if it will be rescheduled or canceled altogether. Safety is first and foremost. ​

Join the North Frederick County Dems at their monthly meet-up.   

Where: Thurmont Regional Library, 76 E. Moser Road, Thurmont.  

North Frederick County Dems monthly meet-up​ is held on the second Saturday of every month. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable canned good for donating to the local food bank.

Organizers are Bill O'Toole, Fred Wood, and Cathy Bodin.

Join the South Frederick County Dems for lively discussion and conversation with guest speakers and fellow Dems at their monthly meet-up on the third Saturday of every month (except September and October, which is the 4th Saturday).
