In addition, we may collect information as required by the State of Maryland. We are required by law to report all donations to the Maryland Campaign Finance System. We use a third-party provider, ActBlue, www.actblue.com, that collects all the necessary information we need for reporting: name, mailing address, employee title, and employer information. We may receive information from public databases, social media platforms, and other outside sources.
Information We Collect Automatically
We use website analytics technology to learn about traffic to our website to determine, for example, which pages are accessed most frequently and which websites visitors have used to find our site. Email and Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third party, except: (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); or (2) with anyone the person submitting the data expressly permits; or (3) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process. No email addresses or phone numbers will be sold, rented, or leased to third parties.
To stop receiving text messages, reply with the word STOP, or follow other instructions provided in the text message. We may confirm your opt-out by text message.
At any time, you may “unsubscribe” from our email communications sent through MailChimp via a link at the bottom of each email. If you opt out of our emails, we may still send you other types of emails, such as those about your use of the site or any donations or transactions.
