The power grab and overreach of President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the MAGA wing of the Republican Party is an assault on our democracy, Constitution, and Democratic values. We must resist this fascist regime but do so peacefully. Here are some sites and/or documents that share information on how to get involved, contact your elected officials, and learn about community resources.

Local Agencies
  • The Frederick Center - exists to support and advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) people.
  • AARCH - serves community members and visitors of all ages and cultural backgrounds who are interested in learning about and sharing their stories about African American history and heritage in Frederick County.
  • Asian American Center of Frederick - provides access to essential healthcare services and information, early childhood education, workforce development, citizenship and integration services, language instruction, social services navigation, as well as medical and emergency financial assistance. Services all individuals.
  • Centro Hispano de Frederick - equips the Hispanic community to be thriving, contributing members of Frederick County.
  • PFLAG Frederick - is the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
